Communications
It is important that we work closely with parents and carers. We use two systems to communicate information, both of which are secure and not publicly visible.
Arbor Parent Portal and App
Arbor is our management information system. Parents and carers can use their Arbor account to:
- Update contact information.
- Update permissions for their child.
- Sign up for appointments or clubs.
- Make online payments for trips or school lunches.
We use Arbor for important communications regarding payments or contact information. We also use Arbor to email parents securely.
ClassDojo
ClassDojo is a more informal method of communication which allows us to share insights into what is happening in the classroom on a daily basis. Pictures and videos of children’s work, quick informal messages home and keeping track of children's rewards are sent through ClassDojo.
Examples of how we can use ClassDojo include:
- Setting reminders for events.
- Notifying of changes to opening times if necessary.
- Reminding of PE days.
