Here we are ready for our Christmas break. We've had lots of exciting things happening this half-term, including trips, interesting lessons and lots of festivities. Read on to find out a little bit more about what we've been up to and the plans we have for the new year!
The school year has got off to a fantastic start, despite a few technical hiccups! When we returned the school was still undergoing electrical work, but everyone has pulled together to get the school ship shape and ready for learning to take place.
We have had all the work finished now and the refurbishments to the school hall have made a huge difference in how we can work. I'd like to say a huge thank you to all the staff for working hard to help get the school back up and running and being so flexible in working around the electricians!

Here we are at the end of another term and this year seems to have flown by in an instant! We've filled this last term of the year with lots of exciting happenings again. We've started our Breakfast Club, which has been a great success, celebrated VE Day, Pride Month and enjoyed Forest Schools as well as plenty of other sporting opportunities.
Our Year 6 children have worked hard on their SATs, put their best efforts in and have been rewarded with some excellent results from their starting points. We are very proud of their attitudes and achievements. Our transition programme has been comprehensive again in supporting all the pupils in their move to their next stage of learning and we are sure that everyone is ready for that next step.

It's been an incredibly busy term with lots going on in school. From snow, to the Young Voices concert, being joined by our reading dogs, celebrating World Book Day and some wonderful charity events, alongside all the wonderful learning that has been carried out in the classrooms.
